Interpreting - Translation




Here are some expressions commonly used in discussing the body - the trunk or torso matters.

Listen to back - the posterior part of a human (or animal) body from the neck to the end of the spine
Listen to chest - the part of the human body between the neck and the diaphragm or the corresponding part in other vertebrates, thorax
Listen to stomach - an enlarged and muscular saclike organ of the alimentary canal; the principal organ of digestion
Listen to waist - the narrowing of the body between the ribs and hips
